A workspace or a social experience? A tour of Sky Central

Neil Usher, Director of Workplace at Sky, Wayne McKiernan, of PLP Architecture, and Arup’s Carolina Bartram guided the group through a structure that really is a social experience. 2017 – Maintaining the balance or a time for bold moves?


Scotland cities like all UK cities moved down the ULI/PwC European Emerging Trends in Real Estate rating however, investment sentiment remains higher than London (no. 27) with Edinburgh rated 24th. Residential markets (housing, PRS, student housing and aged care) top the 10 investment opportunity areas however, a focus on asset performance and ‘customer’ engagement indicates there may be limited market movement. Tech Forum: Digital Journey


Are real estate organisations adapting to the digital age? The recent ULI Tech Forum debate led by Tim Stonor, Managing Director, Space Syntax explored this question with views from four leading organisations and a multi-disciplinary audience, highlighting common barriers, key trends and processes that real estate could adopt be meet this new era. Representatives from across the industry enjoyed the warm hospitality of M&G Real Estate at their offices in Grosvenor Place on Thursday 10 November. Battersea Power Station- Infrastructure Unlocking Regeneration


Wonderful blue skies greeted guests at the ULI Battersea Power Station Site tour on Thursday 3rd November. The gargantuan, grade II* listed power station was in clear view, and the cold Autumnal air contrasted with the hive of activity going on around the site. Adapting a heritage house for a carbon sensitive future


119 Ebury Street, a listed Georgian terrace building has recently completed a seven-year journey that saw the building being converted into three sustainable luxury apartments.
