Technical Assistance Panels

Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) provide expert, multidisciplinary advice to local governments, public agencies and nonprofit organizations facing complex land use and real estate issues in the United Kingdom.  TAPs draw from ULI UK’s seasoned professional membership base, offering objective and responsible guidance on a variety of land use and real estate issues ranging from site-specific projects to public policy questions.

TAPs are made up of ULI members with expertise relevant to the specific land use challenges at hand.  Panellists volunteer their time over two days, working with local governments, private developers and community organisations to generate high-impact recommendations–a form of expert consultancy that cannot be found anywhere else.  Panels conclude with a public presentation that allow communities to hear first-hand from the panellists about their initial recommendations.  A more detailed written report follows about six weeks after the panel.
