UrbanPlan Students Celebrate at London’s City Hall
ULI was delighted to host an event for all the winning student teams and their teachers who participated in UrbanPlan UK this academic year

On the 29th June, the first Cambridge Future Cities Conference was held. The conference is part of a broader initiative bringing together academic research and commercial and public sector expertise on issues around how to design, develop, govern and thrive in cities. The initiative is led by the Real Estate Research Centre in the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge and supported by CapCo plc. The goals are similar to the mission of ULI and the write up has been prepared in partnership with ULI.
The conference themes looked at issues ranging from density, health and well-being, sustainability and place-making – the main themes were:
