Driverless Cars and the City 12th October, London. Half day conference exploring how driverless vehicles will transform cities

Emerging technologies are blending mega-data, mobility, and urban strategies. Will these innovations disrupt and remodel the workforce? Will automated movement undermine or support the development of urban areas? ULI will explore these questions at its ‘Driverless Cars and the City’ conference on 12th October in London.

The conference will bring together researchers, professionals, developers, and government representatives to review current UK trials, movement simulations for European cities, and emerging policy, planning, property, and business implications of autonomous movement.

This event will inform urban aspirations and suggest how we adapt to a changing urban realm.

The ULI UK Infrastructure Council is a newly formed council with a mission to promote more sustainable infrastructure investment choices, and to foster an improved understanding of the links between infrastructure and land use. Because infrastructure is the foundation for metropolitan prosperity, and because it provides the physical framework for real estate investment, ULI has identified infrastructure as a key priority.
