Quintain hosted the inaugural ULI UK Development Forum at Wembley on 26 September. Richard Blakeway, Deputy Mayor for housing, land and property for the GLA, opened the forum with an insight into the scale of demand and challenges London faces in delivering sufficient housing. 49,000 homes need to be delivered per year to meet London’s housing demand and the GLA are working with Quintain and the wider developer community to meet this future challenge.
The Development Forum provided a unique insight into how Quintain are developing Wembley and playing a key role in meeting part of London’s future housing, entertainment and retail needs. Quintain shared how Wembley has evolved, how development strategies changed during the recession, the site’s development phases, and current tenure and financial strategies. Download infoburst here.
