Last October Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and the Urban Land Institute wanted to consider how evolving technologies would influence consumer behaviours and the impact that this would have on the city centre over the next five years.
As a result the ‘Tomorrow’s City Centre’ Retreat and Conference was born, a two day advisory panel style event that brought together business leaders, technology specialists and city futurists. The retreat has proved pivotal in capturing key questions, challenges and identifying the opportunities facing Glasgow city centre.

The report, was delivered by aerial drone to select representatives of the Retreat delegation at the Glasgow Science Centre (view the BBC footage of the drone delivery below).
The report highlights Glasgow’s ambitions with ten recommendations for how the city centre can take leadership of a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
