The recent ULI Summer Drinks brought to life the how Stratford and the Olympic Park are proving to be provide a vibrant community in east London. The event sponsors Atkins took visitors on a behind the scenes tour of the Olympic Park.

Starting at the new neighbourhood of East Village, formerly known as the ‘Athletes Village’ where athletes once roamed, the area has been transformed into a series of shiny new buildings and parks. As we passed through the neighbourhood the area was a hive of activity with an array of people enjoying the parks, sporting facilities and local establishments.

Timed to perfection, the tour concluded on sunset with a presentation illustrating the parks development and a lively drinks reception at the Pavilion adjacent to the Olympic Stadium. For those that missed the tour you can view the Presentation or download the guide below.
