Young Leaders Lunch & Learn with Simon Silver, Director, Derwent London plc
Simon Silver is the creative force behind the successful property investor Derwent London plc. At June 2018 the portfolio comprised 5.5 million sq ft and was valued at £5.0 billion.
Simon’s role focuses mainly on Derwent’s projects which have all been concentrated in urban areas of central London. Under his direction, the company has commissioned a wide variety of contemporary architects resulting in a series of innovative and interesting schemes. Due to its strong architectural patronage, Derwent London has become well known in the industry for its strong design-led philosophy and has won numerous awards. Flagship buildings in the company’s portfolio include Tea Building, Angel Building, White Collar Factory and upcoming projects – Brunel Building, 80 Charlotte Street and Soho Place.
Simon is an honorary fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Tim is a chartered architect and member of the RIBA with over 20 years experience. Having studied at Leicester University Tim has designed a variety of projects throughout Europe, New York and Miami. He joined Derwent London in 2008 and as Group Architect works intimately with our design teams to curate our buildings.
