    ULI UK Infrastructure and Urban Development Product Council Day

    We are very pleased to invite you to the first product council session of 2022 on Tuesday 11 January.

    The event will be held in person at one of the major urban development projects in London, Vauxhall / Nine Elms / Battersea, beginning at 2:00pm GMT.

    Members will partake in an open-air walking tour of the area with Kathryn Stewart, Head of Programme at Nine Elms, Wandsworth Council, followed by a discussion. We will be joined by experts who had been involved in the development:

    • Danny Calver, Planning Manager, Transport for London
    • Sarah Banham, Head of Community and Sustainability, Battersea Power Station

    Plus further panellists TBA.

    The development features many major projects, such as Battersea Power Station and the new US Embassy amongst others, and a unique approach to collaboration and partnership between public and private sector. We will have the chance to discuss many of the themes that our council have been debating recently, including:

    • Value creation for the local area and London more broadly;
    • The role of infrastructure in unlocking (social and environmental) value; and
    • Collaboration, partnership and governance as a delivery model.

    After the formal session, we will move to a nearby venue (TBC) for informal drinks and catch up with your fellow members (optional).

    Subject to the UK government guidance, we may decide to move it to online with a few days’ notice. In case we go ahead as planned, in addition to the ULI guidance below, we would like to request that you kindly take a lateral flow test in the morning of the event.
