     ESG-linked debt facilities for Real Estate Businesses with Adi Gokal, GPE
     
    Adi Gokal is the corporate finance manager for Great Portland Estates plc, a FTSE 250 property investment and development company owning £2.6 billion of real estate in central London.

    Adi recently negotiated an innovative £450m credit facility with five relationship banks, incorporating three ESG-linked KPIs. This approach brings the financing inline with GPE's ambitious sustainability strategy, incentivising decarbonisation and behavioural change.

    Adi has worked at GPE in the corporate finance team for 6 years having qualified as an ACA at Deloitte. Adi holds a degree from the London School of Economics and has a particular interest in the Fintech world, having recently completed a Fintech course at the Said Business School, Oxford University. Adi is also an executive committee member of LSE's Global Real Estate Group which fosters business relationships among LSE alumni practicing in the real estate industry.
