Mark Farmer, CEO, Cast Consulting and Alex Griffiths, Associate Director (Consultancy), Mace Group, will discuss influencing at Industry, Business and individual Project levels.

    Background:
A significant number of professions in the Built Environment operate through ‘Influence’ rather than direct control. Managers often have no contractual control over Project Teams, so ‘discretionary effort’, a key component of success, rests on their ability to influence.  Alex and Mark will discuss the concepts of Sphere of Influence and Quality of influence, discuss their experiences and cover practical tools and methods to influence individuals and teams that we can all use to be more influential.
