    Alvis Yuen

    Vice President, Assistant Director of Sustainability, SL Green Realty Corporation

    Alvis Yuen is Assistant Vice President, Energy and Building Performance, and part of the Sustainability Team at SL Green Realty Corp. He is responsible for engagement on sustainability policy issues and manages ESG data disclosure across various reporting frameworks such as GRI, GRESB, and CDP. Alvis earned a M.S. for Sustainability in the Urban Environment from the City College of New York and a M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago. He represents SL Green on several industry groups including ULI Greenprint, IMT, REBNY’s Sustainability Committee and Technology Committee, NYC Mayor’s Carbon Challenge, and Urban Green Council.

    David DeVos

    Global Head of ESG, LaSalle

    David DeVos is the global Head of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) for LaSalle Investment Management with extensive experience leading global sustainability strategies to positively impact the financial and environmental performance of real estate portfolios. As a leader in ESG, he drives building efficiency, renewable energy and climate initiatives, promotes health & well-being, resiliency, diversity & inclusion and transparent reporting to stakeholders. Prior to LaSalle, David was the Global Director of Sustainability for more than a decade at PGIM Real Estate, where he led their Global Sustainability Council and oversaw their regional Councils in the Americas, Europe and Asia. He managed and expanded their ESG reporting and implemented renewable energy projects, energy and water efficiency initiatives, created an internal emerging market green building certification and evaluated their global portfolio for climate and resiliency risks. David holds an MBA, Bachelor of Environmental Design, and a professional Bachelor of Architecture. In addition, he supplemented his education at Harvard University’s Executive Sustainability Leadership program. His diverse corporate, design, construction and ESG credentials grant him an understanding of the built environment from an owner’s, architect’s and contractor’s point-of-view.
