    Join us for a virtual 'Lunch and Learn' session focused on Building Your Career on 9 September, with Adrian Bland, chair of ULI Midlands, partner and head of commercial real estate at Shakespeare Martineau LLP.
     
    This event will be hosted on Zoom and is open exclusively to our ULI UK Young Leaders (Under 35). Please note due to the interactive nature of the session the number of attendees is limited to 25 and these will be registered on a first come, first served basis.     Adrian Bland, chair of ULI Midlands, partner and head of commercial real estate at Shakespeare Martineau LLP
     
    Before joining Shakespeare Martineau, Adrian was a partner, group leader of real estate and main board member at Gowlings WLG (Wragge&Co as it then was) for over 10 years. Prior to that Adrian spent 25 years at Eversheds where he trained as a lawyer, rose to become head of the property department, then senior partner (executive chairman) and national board member all by the age of 40. He was chair of Ikon Gallery for 11 years, chair of Birmingham Professional Services, co-founded Birmingham Professional Diversity and served on several boards including Birmingham Chamber Group.
     
    He currently chairs ULI`s Midlands Executive Committee and sits on the UK Executive Board. Adrian lives in Edgbaston with his wife, 11-year old son and "the fur baby" - an 11 months old Portuguese Water Dog.

    This will be a unique workshop for those who want to gain insight on how to build your career, manage your personal brand and utilise your networks effectively.

    This is a great opportunity to have an interactive session with Adrian, both to obtain an insight into Adrian’s experience, but also to present your own questions on the best way you can start building your career.

    Adrian Bland is Chair of ULI Midlands, Partner and Head of Commercial Real Estate at Shakespeare Martineau LLP.
