We are pleased to invite you to a cross-border webinar powered by the ULI France NEXT group, co-chaired by Tamara Brisk and Christel Zordan, on 15 December at 11 am CET on the lessons learned from Asia on doing business in the COVID-19 era.
Asia was the first continent hit by the COVID-19 and the first to be put into lockdown. From this summer onwards, Asia seems to have returned to some degree of “normal life”. How did Asia manage to relaunch businesses? Did all businesses suffer in the same way? Have they all relaunched with ease? What are the different approaches to supporting businesses country to country?
Since the beginning of this pandemic, the rest of the globe is trying to adapt to a health context that highlights or reinforces new trends. All urban market players speak about new ways of working, new ways of consuming and new ways of living. Has Asia really experienced those trends? How drastically did habits change? What is the impact on the real estate market in Asia so far?
There are many outstanding questions for Europe, we thought it would be interesting to learn more from Asian professionals who experienced it ahead of us.
The panel will bring together:
- Louise Kavanagh, Fund Manager, Nuveen Real Estate (Hong-Kong based)
- Elizabeth Laws Fuller, Head of Growth, Southeast Asia, WeWork (Singapore based)
- Guillaume Castagne, CEO, COVE (Singapore based)
- Tom Meyer, Vice President Operations Luxe Hotels Singapore, Accor (Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia)
