    Gareth Lewis

    Director, PwC

    Gareth has over 20 years multi-disciplined experience across the UK, European and global real estate sector. He leads PwC’s real estate thought leadership and research on behalf of the European firm, including PwC/ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate European and Global reports. Having worked originally as a real estate advisor for EY in London and New York, he spent a number of years as an industry representative for the British Property Federation (BPF), European Public Real Association (EPRA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). During his 5 years at EPRA, he represented the European REIT sector in their engagements with governments, regulators and global investors. At PwC, Gareth helps real estate businesses in the development and execution of their real estate strategy/operations and drives PwC’s knowledge and insight relevant to real estate businesses.

    Andy Poppink

    CEO EMEA Markets, JLL

    Andy leads JLL's EMEA Markets business as its CEO. His responsibilities include driving strategy and results for JLL’s leasing advisory, property management, and project and development services businesses as well as delivering a connected, One JLL approach for clients across the region. Following a basketball career that took him around the world, Andy settled near his alma mater (Stanford University) in the Silicon Valley region of California where he started his real estate career at the Staubach Company. There he supported clients from early stage start-ups to global corporations with the formation and strategic implementation of their real estate objectives. After the Staubach Company was acquired by JLL in 2008, Andy rose to lead JLL’s western region, overseeing Northern California, Pacific Northwest, Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions. Now based in Europe, Andy was appointed to CEO EMEA Markets in January 2021.

    Andrea Orlandi

    Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Investments Europe, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board

    Andrea is a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investments – Europe at CPPIB. In this role Andrea is responsible for the European real estate investment program, oversees the Indian real estate program and is part of the real estate senior leadership team. Prior to joining CPPIB, Andrea was the European Chief Investment Officer of AREA Property Partners, an international real estate private equity firm now part of Ares Management, and previously he worked at Merrill Lynch in New York and London. He holds an MBA from Insead and a BS in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University. Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) is a professional investment management organization that invests around the world in the best interests of the more than 20 million contributors and beneficiaries of the Canada Pension Plan. In order to build diversified portfolios of assets, investments in public equities, private equities, real estate, infrastructure and fixed income are made by CPP Investments. Headquartered in Toronto, with offices in Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Mumbai, New York City, San Francisco, São Paulo and Sydney, CPP Investments is governed and managed independently of the Canada Pension Plan and at arm’s length from governments. At December 31, 2020, the Fund totaled C$475.7 billion.

    Eri Mitsostergiou

    World Research Director, Savills (UK) Ltd

    Eri is responsible for the coordination of Savills European Research and for providing advice to Savills clients on their strategy and activity in the European property markets. Eri has over 20 years of experience in the European Property Markets and her opinions are regularly quoted in the international property press. Over the recent years Eri has focused on the impact of technology and demographic change on the use of space, and the rising importance of the living sectors on investment strategies. She frequently presents her views in conferences, podcasts and blogs. She is a qualified Architect and has completed the MSc in European Property Development and Planning at UCL and the Investment Property Forum Diploma at the City Business School. She is currently the Chair of ULI Greece and Cyprus National Council. In addition she is a Mentor of the Savills Mentoring Scheme. She is fluent in Greek, English, Italian, German and Romanian and has a good understanding of Spanish and Dutch. She is currently based in Athens, working regularly from the London office and she has worked previously from the Savills offices in Bucharest, Amsterdam and London.

    Megan Walters

    Global Head of Research, PIMCO Prime Real Estate

    Megan Walters is the Global Head of Research of Allianz Real Estate. Based in London, she joined the company in November 2019 and has over 20 years of experience in global real estate. Prior to joining the company, she worked at JLL Asia Pacific where she was a member of the JLL Global Research executive team and held the position of Head of Research Asia-Pacific. Megan has a master‘s degree in Project Management from the University of Reading and holds a PhD in Real Estate Economics from the University of Hong Kong.

    Lisette van Doorn

    Chief Executive Officer, Europe, Urban Land Institute

    As chief executive of ULI Europe, Lisette van Doorn is responsible for the development of the Institute’s activities across the region, including its renowned pan-European conferences and over 250 local meetings and events across 14 countries. She is responsible for working with ULI’s staff both locally and globally to deliver more high profile content and reports; coordinating Advisory Services panels and Urban Plan; and expanding the Institute’s thought leadership across Europe. Van Doorn joined ULI in January 2015 from LIRE, her own consultancy business, which advises international institutional real estate investors and fund managers on strategy, organisational optimisation and portfolio structuring. Prior to this, van Doorn was country manager for CBRE Global Investors where she managed a €1.6bn portfolio of assets in Italy and fund manager of two shopping centre funds (€ 1.3 billion) with assets in Spain, Portugal and Italy. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, van Doorn was founding chief executive for INREV, the European association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles for four and a half years. Van Doorn started her career at ING Investment Management, where she held account manager and assistant controller positions before being made managing director of research & strategy for ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.
