SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PRODUCT COUNCIL VICE CHAIR
We need to be regenerative in order to ensure our world remains sustainable.
ULI UK is establishing a Product Council focused on climate change and how real estate and the Built Environment should facilitate sustainable development within the communities it occupies.
ULI UK previously had a successful Sustainability Product Council but this came to an end with the idea that sustainability should be entwined into everything we do here at ULI. Whilst this has been successful, we feel that this idea around a Golden Thread detracts from ULI UK being fully engaged in the climate agenda and being able to tackle many of the thorny issues that this area raises.
A Product Council here at ULI UK focused on regenerative sustainability, provides a fantastic opportunity to build a committee from a multi-disciplinary framework from across real estate and the built environment; leveraging the opportunity for a diverse group of people to come together and share their experiences and perspective.
Product Councils at ULI are a fantastic opportunity for members to take on thought leadership roles within ULI. PCs comprise of no more than 50 ULI members. Full membership is required for participation.
All those interested in this area of the industry either directly or indirectly please get involved.
Remit:
The general purpose of the PC is as follows (but the ultimate remit and focus is to be defined by the council once in place).
Full ULI membership is required to participate in our Product Councils.
