Urban environment organisations actively supporting COVID-19 assistance
The Do Some Good initiative continues to provide invaluable coordination and support from the property sector for COVID-19. Some recent activities and a request for help include:
10 families suffering from domestic abuse were re-housed within 24 hours through generous offers of accommodation to ensure a safe place for vulnerable families.
Accommodation has also been found near the London Excel for 10 servicemen and woman who are supporting the NHS Nightingale Hospital, although a requirement for additional teams who will also need accommodation may also be necessary in the coming weeks.
Accommodation required near Westminster: At the moment they urgent need a hotel with ideally 20-50 rooms near Westminster London, to house vulnerable homeless people during this really difficult time – they are happy to contribute towards costs if required.
How can you help? Any way in which somebody or an organization can help would be greatly appreciated. Most of the donations and support have come in the form of space (residential and commercial), volunteers, donations and services.
Even if you are keen to help but not sure how please call Joseph Morris on 07375 035 713 as they have seen wonderful ways in which people might be able to contribute.
