ULI UK Residential and Infrastructure Council Day

Innovative Finance and Delivery of Social and Affordable Housing at Scale

Finance is available and housing demand across our cities are at an all-time high, yet delivery of housing that caters for diverse demographics across our urban realm is not being realised. The ULI UK Infrastructure and Residential Product Councils have observed examples of innovative financing that is or could enable housing to be delivered at scale but as yet have seen limited adoption in the UK. Examples have included:

  • Social and Liquid Bonds
  • Land value capture around infrastructure nodes
  • New National Policy adopted in European countries that enable delivery
  • Local Authority Policy ambitions

This seminar will bring together Government, finance, infrastructure, development, planners and leading representatives from across the housing and infrastructure delivery fields to understand how we can collectively unlock the delivery of housing to meet the needs of our cities.

Outcomes from this seminar are also aimed at establishing a collaborative path for the wider finance, housing, infrastructure delivery and Government to continue to collaborate.
