The operational alternative space is experiencing significant growth, with data centers, hotels, student accommodation and others emerging alongside established sectors like residential and logistics. This reflects shifting demographics, evolving consumer behavior, and the growing importance of technology infrastructure. Join us for this event to learn with a key investor in the sector, Keith Breslauer.
Topics for discussion include:
- Market Status / New Sectors: a brief update on the current market and most “popular” asset classes in the operational alternative space (pubs, data centre, hotels/ serviced apt. etc.)
- Active Engagement: is shaping the tenant experience to drive returns becoming more important. Is real estate getting closer to traditional PE?
- Beyond Rent: How traditional RE (retail, office, residential) is being disrupted – example: income directly tied to property performance (ancillary revenue, active yield management, services etc.) vs. just long leases?
- Does Operational RE Offer Higher Potential: Does operational RE unlock greater upside compared to traditional models. Does it come at the cost of downside protection, revenue visibility?
The session will be a 45 minute Lunch and Learn, followed by a 15 minute Q&A with Keith. Lunch will kindly be provided. We will then finish with a 30 minute networking Q&A.
