    We are delighted to invite you to the next ULI Midlands YLs’ event: a Breakfast Briefing with Deborah Cadman, Chief Executive of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), in collaboration with insightWESTMIDS.
     
    Deborah is a dedicated and passionate female advocate at the forefront of the public sector. She was awarded an OBE in 2006 for services to local government. Having worked on major regeneration projects throughout her lengthy career, she has a long and distinguished career in public service. Deborah was born and bred in Birmingham and attended the University of Birmingham, she has a degree in Politics as well as Master’s degree in economics.
     
    Join us for an informal breakfast briefing with Deborah to hear first-hand about her personal journey to becoming the first permanent Chief Executive of the WMCA as well as hearing about her reflections of the WMCA work since its formation and in particular her ambitions for the future of our region. There will also be an opportunity to ask Deborah questions and a round-table discussion.
     
    insightWESTMIDS was set up by Atif Ali, who is currently on a graduate scheme in the Inclusive Growth Directorate at Birmingham City Council. The aims of insightWESTMIDS are 1) to provide a greater and richer insight into the West Midlands region 2) foster greater relationships between the public and private sector.     Cancellation Policy
    • A full refund will be awarded for written cancellation and refund requests received up to 5 (five) days before the event.  This includes work and non-work days.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after 12.00am on the fifth day before the event.
    • Registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation if requested by 12.00am on the fifth day before the event without penalty.  Appropriate fee category will apply upon transfer.
    • Registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation if requested by 12.00am the day before the event; a £5 transfer fee will be charged.
    • Verbal requests for cancellations and refunds will not be accepted; all requests must be made in writing to [email protected]
