    Customer demand and expectations for hotels are rapidly changing and how will these trends evolve in a post COVID-19 world? ULI will be bringing together a cross section of industry leaders to share how hotel investors, operators, agents and developers are adapting to a new paradigm and explore how emerging consumer trends from a pre-COVID-19 world may influence this sector in the decade ahead.

    Nick Green, Partner, Squires Patton Boggs
    Nick Green is the Office Managing Partner of the Birmingham office of Squire Patton Boggs and a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group. His particular expertise covers development and corporate real estate with a focus on healthcare development, hotels and leisure and corporate acquisitions and disposals. He acts for a number of significant clients in relation to their acquisitions and disposals of real estate, joint ventures, investment transactions, whether purely asset or share agreements, and the asset management for clients with substantial leasehold portfolios.
    Nick played rugby for Headingley, Wakefield and Leeds and coached the mini and junior rugby at Bournville RFC for 12 years.

    Niall Macklin, Acquisitions & Development Manager, DalataHotel
    Niall is Acquisitions and Development Manager for Dalata Hotel Group plc. Dalata is Ireland’s largest hotel group with a portfolio of 41 hotels across Ireland and the UK, operating under the Clayton and Maldron brands. In addition to this they have a pipeline of 10 hotels in development (2 in Ireland, 8 in the UK) which are due to open at various stages in 2021 and 2022. Niall is a Chartered Accountant and prior to joining Dalata worked with KPMG, in the Restructuring Department, for 9 years.
     
     
    Eliza Crocker, Lead Designer, CRTKL
    Eliza is an Architect with extensive experience leading the design and delivery of housing and hotel projects in the UK and Europe. As part of her specialism in off-site construction and the creation of sustainable, socially-minded hospitality developments, Eliza is an accredited WELL AP. Eliza provides professional guidance on the WELL Building Standard, which focuses on measuring, monitoring and certifying buildings to improve occupants comfort, and enhance health and wellness.

    Mark Robinson, Director, Kier Property
    Mark is a Senior Development Director with Kier Property, working on development projects across the UK. This includes the delivery of the latest phases of the mixed use Arena Central scheme in the heart of Birmingham city centre. As a business, a core part of Kier Property’s work is creating bespoke solutions for occupiers and this has been seen in the delivery of a number of hotels across the UK, with more in the pipeline.
