The Collective Old Oak Site Tour
The latest event in the Innovators & Disrupters Series took the ULI Young Leaders to ‘The Collective Old Oak’ to learn all about co-living.
Last week saw the fifth and final ULI UK Residential Council multifamily study tour to Boston and Washington DC. 19 participants including James Murray, Deputy Mayor of London for Housing and Residential Development and leading investors, architects, developers and operators from across the UK, met with senior ULI members and delved into the detail on delivering successful multifamily.
“The ULI tour was an incredibly insightful trip that was exceptionally well organised. We saw a fantastic mix of schemes, both city centre and suburban ‘garden-style’ with awide range of investors developers and operators. My key finding was to understand that we are developing a product in line with the best of what we’ve seen in the USA.”
Richard Jackson, Founding Partner, Apache Capital Partners.
“The ULI Multifamily study tour provided new members of ULI with an intensive insight into the depth of the professional membership and the level of seniority and expertise that exists within the ULI network. As a new female member, I was especially pleased to see the presence of women in senior roles through all the major industry segments, including asset management, advisory services, development and project management and design management. The value of a ULI membership came through substantially as a result of the openness of the benchmarking exercises, and the engaged and transparent nature of presentations by sector leaders to their audience.”
